Full Circle

Today, as I looked through the beautiful photos captured back in April at the Kept Woman of GOD 10th Year Anniversary Conference, one snapshot in particular stopped me in my tracks.

It took me back 18 years ago—walking through the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri, trying to make sense of life after suddenly becoming a widow following 20 years of marriage. As I crossed the street, a few women approached me. One of them, Kimiko Gilmore, introduced herself and said, “I knew your husband—he was a great guy.” She offered her condolences and gave me the warmest hug. Before she walked away, she said, “If you ever need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out.”

Many people had said those same words, but this time, they resonated differently—in my ears and in my heart. At the time, I didn’t know what I needed or who I needed, but I saved her number. Looking back, I truly believe GOD orchestrated that moment, knowing we would one day need each other in this very season.

I’m sharing this today because someone needs the reminder that our GOD is an on-time GOD. He sees you, He’s watching over you, and He’s always sending angels to walk alongside you—just when you need them most.
